you could say this about texting, or calling somebody, doing makeup etc....

senseless violence. especially violence in the name of religion. violence in general. I dont understand whats so hard about not harming others. it takes more effort to build a bomb or pull a trigger than it does tojust turn the other cheek.

I hate getting those job phone calls that tell you, you did everything great...BUT, we decided to go with someone else. The feedback is "needs more experience". How do you get that when no one gives you a chance? Moving on...something has to give eventually.

I second that...it was horrible when I was starting out after college. Keep the positive attitude!

I think if someone doesn't know what they want and they are looking down at it scrolling through their playlists, or songs just to see what it there...then yes, it is as bad. But aren't all distractions? GPS, video playing etc. Also, if this is done in traffic then yes, it could be just as bad.

Well not exactly no traffic...theres was the police officer!

Ive made some shitty decisions in life. Im an electrician in the navy. I understand it makes me a bit of a hyprocrit but i joined at a time where it seemed like i didnt really have a lot of choices. it was either that or be a bum because i couldnt afford college.

Didn't mean it like that, just seemed like a weird outlook for someone that's active in the navy.

yeah i suppose. they dont really do a good job of brainwashing in bootcamp haha. im the same guy i was before i joined. only difference being now i work on a ship, wear a uniform to work and get free healthcare.
but you are correct. which is a primary reason i dont plan on reenlisting.

Ok, point taken...though does a stopped cop car count as traffic? I should have put down the Ipod as soon as I saw him. But I figured it wouldn't matter. Epic Fail...

Well to answer your question i would not look to decide if it counts as traffic but rather look at it as a vehicle that one could potentially hit when care isn't taken and cause an accident. With that in mind it doesn't really matter if it is considered traffic or not.
