A good movie you've watched recently

    I Love You, Man
    District 9
    State Of Play
Outlander (it's not that brilliant at all but somehow I found it interesting)

    Post yours!

Since I was gone for a month this summer, Hubby and I aimed to catch up on the summer films that we missed seeing together at the $1 theater:

    District 9
    500 Days of Summer
    Inglorious Bastards
    Star Trek
    Up (second tme)
    Transformers
    Terminator Salvation (second time)
Bonnie and Clyde (I had it on my Netflix queue FOR-EV-ER)

How did you like District 9? I think it's amazingly fresh and just an awesome movie. I really liked it.

I didn't like it at first, but the more I think about it, the more I think the writers were very clever with the character development and the twist in the protagonist/antagonist dynamic.

just came home from Inglorious Basterds.. stunning !
I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. Itís us. Only us.

Exactly, it doesn't look like yet another sci-fi movie to me. I also appreciated camera work and gfx.

I wish there were more movies like this one.

I saw Halloween 2 a couple of weeks ago, and I thought it was great visually, but just okay as a movie.
