oh i forgot, any die hard movie, matrix, top gun, space balls.... hell yes! all oscar-worthy selections and bound to become classics, but i think a true classic movie is like twenty years old or something. the 40s and 50s ushered in some of the greatest classics...

i wanna talk classic horror films. i love a good slasher horror like friday the 13th. the shining is another notable classic, and a nightmare on elm street definately makes the cut!

opinions?

p.s. 1978 horror classic dawn of the dead was remade and comes out 3/19; anyone see it yet (bootlegs always surface)? i hope its not a fucking disappointment!

But Friday the 13th, and Elm Street are very good. right on. the old dracula flicks are totally awesome. the original brom stoker's version is the best! (i can't think of who directed it off the top of my head.) the silence keeps you poised and is open to interpretation. hmm... calm & collected or eerie & frightening?
