well. I think he served his purpose. but he also had no chance in hell in becoming pres.

nah. he energized the party. he got people interested in the campaign and was able to take pot shots at bush that someone actually running never could.

I'll second that, if it hadnt been for him, I cant see the DP getting the motivation and focus to even run a meaningful campaign.
