if you guys are ever in nyc... i don't care if you are vegan or vegetarian or eat meat. do yourself a favor and go to this place. it's the best food i have ever eaten. it's in the west village. my wife and i are going to fly up just to eat there and then go back home.

for my british friends...they have vegan fish and chips!

I've had vegan scampi and chips, it wasn't very scampi like at all.

so far the only fake meat that tastes anything similar to what it's pretending to be have been chicken and duck that I've had. beef and pork never tasted anything similar. and fish tended to be just really bland almost tofu stuff in texture.

that being said. in the dc area I recommend sunflower, yuan fu and the vegetable garden.

This scampi was by far the worst pretend meat type product i have had. The more i hear about this sunflower the more i want to go, it sounds cool and i like sunflowers.
