i just got this today and am SO fucking psyched! 9 discs! over 40 hours of bonus material! oh man, i need to lie down.......

this is a case of too much bonus material i beleive.

40 hours?

what do they have interviews with the caterers and gaffers. maybe a commentary with the best boys or key grips?

the first film was good... but i don't think that this is a series of films that deserve that much material. to each their own though huh?

I love alien films although the forth was a bit poo, i just want a decent alien vs predator film but if it ever gets finnished it'll probably be poo too.

alien and aliens were amazing.
now 3 and 4, could have never been made and the world wouldn't notice. The thing that kills me is that the alien is such an amazing villian that they could have just used them and made amazing movies, but instead they ended up being obsessed with ripley and a prison colony?

i quite liked 3, it didn't measure up to 1 or 2 but it wasn't bad seeing as it had that to live up too.

Alien 4 was an attrocity!! They ruined the alien in that film. All the people who worked on that film should be thrown out of the movie business. The alien was a fantastic "bad-guy" but they had to go and ruin it the same way that the Star Trek people ruined the Borg.

I hate them all!

I havn't got my hopes up about Alien vs. Predator as Paul Anderson (resident evil) is directing/writing it. Apparently he didn't like any of the ideas from the comic books and chose to write the film himself (what a dick). If resident evil is anything to go by, this film should be compleate toss. I could be wrong, this film might be awesome, but Paul Anderson needs to be sliced like an egg for fucking up resident evil.

Man, those comic books were awesome if it has any chance of being good it needs to be something like the ideas in the comic books. The whole alien vs predator thing has been shelved so many times lets just hope anderson shelves it too. The computer games came out good though.

Yeah, they really kicked ass. I have them all, and it's really frightening, especially when you play it alone at night.

we watched the first one, i have never seen them before, i expected it to be scary, everyone said they are.

i was dissappointed, and i feel sorry for anyone that actually paid the 80+ dollars for it

yeah, but you have to put it into context, that first one came out 25 years ago. people are a lot more numb now than they were then.
