about evolution, because a co worker was trying to make her point against it, because god created everything and all of that crap. what boggles my mind is: how can someone at the age of 27 believe in fairy tales?! it was one of the dumbest conversations i had ever! no points raised from her side, and she only could reply with completely irrevelant things. my wtf-o-meter just broke.

i don't know how it came up, she was having a debate with the very anti-christian gay co-worker, and i joined in. she said something to the extent of because the bible said so, yes...

The great thing about using the argument "because the bible said so" is that most christians i have encountered are just as quick to say that the bible should not be taken literally when something in it doesn't echo their personal belief.

Pretty funny... But i've though up this religion thing a long time ago .
Did you notice that in christianity all saints have those gold-round things above their heads ?
The book of dead : was a egiptian regligious book like the bible . It has a lot of simularities , and from further study.. Those gold-round things = the sun = RA the God of Sun . So it's all from egipt.. So when they say that egittians we're pagans.. They just make it more obvious that the all "god" thing isn't real .
Maybe you didn't catch that but here's my opinion : People kill and steal and etc. . You make the law . But people just do it sinlently , but don't stop ( and it didn't change till this day : " Deamon crazed by greed , cut bystanders down " Karl Buechner - Firestorm ) . Well you are a emperor and need some control , what do you do ? People always had some gods , to explain stuff . Well what if i make a god that punishes people and make an antoganist ( aka Satan ) . So the one's who do sins will be punished . If the person will belive that then he won't do crime , becouse he read the bible and knows that the god knows all . So he's afraid
, people always we're afraid of the stuff THEY MADE UP them selfs..

An example of that is kids , and the dark . There's nothing there , but the human instincts make you be on aware... And that frear... is the same frear like in religion.. You aren't good , you just wan't to get in heaven that means you are just afraid .
