a new member brought up an interesting idea. is one automaticlly the religion of their parents and/or community...or is it a choice?

i renounced my families religion hence i was old enough to realize what was goin on in the catholic church is circulated around cash....well in my area anyway..i choose, so i guess if ur rebilous enough then ull choose to.

Yes and No.

Yes, when you are capable of making a choice for yourself, even if others dont validate it, you have the ability to deny anything.

No, when you are not capable, you cannot make that choice, and the will of others is made your own.

we all know when you are super young, parents automatically take kids to the church they go to and make them some sort of religious follower.... when that kid has a choice (determined by his/her maturity and willingness) then they decide.... not sure If I'm making much sense. Pretty much the same as what Sean said...
