True Grit. I am a sucker for Westerns, and I am really glad that the remake stayed very true to the original with John Wayne.

all the reviews that i heard was that it wasn't true to it at all but instead was true to the book. that the original was campy but the new one was quite serious.

It had a much darker feel than the original and was not nearly as campy, but the plot stayed very much the same (with the exception of a few liberties) and they used a lot of the same script/dialogue.

I watched "8 Dates" last night with my gf. Really good movie. Similar to "new york i love you". And this morning I saw (finaly) "It's all gone Pete Tong" a movie about a deaf DJ.
