I've been taking jewelry classes, and been researching 17th and 18th century techniques on the side.
I finally managed to come up with a way to simulate 17th/18thC foiling techniques! The blue in the stone comes from that. I love dead crafts and techniques.

(Linsee your craft thread needs love!)

well, my craft room finally got sorted today, so hopefully I can start working on some things again. I haven't stopped crocheting or making jewelry, just nothing big and fancy lately!

I'm tackling that project right now. When did I get all of this stuff?

My craft room was seriously bordering on a hoarders-like room, so it had to be done. I still need to go through some of the things, but now I can craft with ease in there and not worry about stepping on another project. Let's just say, I never should have to buy another skein of yarn ever again. I have one of those giant blue Ikea bags full of yarn, it's overflowing.
