    RIP Steve Jobs

The man is no more. Anyone wanna share some thoughts?
I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Probably the most down to earth billionaire on the planet. One of my favourite quotes is:

“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me … Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful … that’s what matters to me”

He did it to make money, not because he liked you having nifty gadgets.

He's just like any other CEO.
It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. It’s us. Only us.

Of course he did it to make money, nobody would argue otherwise. That doesn't make him a bad person nor does it take away from his accomplishments. And the fact that you would make the assumption that Steve Jobs is personally responsible for what happened in that factory in China is absolute crap.

he did it for both. you do realize they're not mutually exclusive right?

dude was an actual real deal visionary. at the first real job I had, the owner was insane and made everyone use these NeXT computers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NeXT

shit was lightyears ahead of everything else and what modern mac's where built on, but no one in the home space got it. Apple did and bought it and brought Steve Jobs back and that's really when their rebirth started.

I'm curious to see what Apple does now. I've always wondered how much of their innovation came from Steve Jobs and how much of it now is the culture that he created and fostered.

They probably have a think-tank or whatever to deliver good and creative ideas.
