Because it is the lamest competition going for skateboarding at least, the commentry is often so innacurate and frustratingly wrong, its really not the best light to see skateboarding in and the way they try to portray skateboarding is massively different from the reality of it. Skate competitions exist in skateboarding and sometimes they are pretty cool but my god does x-games suck ass.

Yeah it was the only majorly televised one for a long time here too but i still didn't like it.
