    vegan cookbooks

Which ones are the best? I have a newly-vegan friend that I need to get a Christmas gift for, and this would be super ideal for him. Bonus points for vegan baking cookbooks, I want one for myself.

Get Veganomicon. It has everything, is really well organized, and is affordable.
It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. It’s us. Only us.

I thought vegans weren't supposed to use cheese?

Most recent vegan cookbook gift - Fresh from the Vegan Slow Cooker. I treated myself to a Power Pressure Cooker XL (slow cooker/pressure cooker/canner all-in-one device) and this cookbook has been a lifesaver! I throw everything in the pot, set the timer and come home a hot, delicious, vegan meal that Hubby, Little Man, and I love.

Do you have any recommendations for low fat vegan recipe books?
I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
