I could take a whole week and a half :).I liked Kioto more than Tokyo thou, and Nagano was beautiful.Hakone was just old people and mountains and fog...Not my kind of place. If you like electronics and videogames and stuff japan is a place for you,all thou i collect games i was a bit owerwhelmed when i walked in to those used games shops, didn't know where to start :). I ended up buying a PS3 console and games for it in Tokyo (it was way cheaper than over here).End result,i had drag it to all the cities we visited after Tokyo, but it was worth it.
There is much other stuff over there too.Like nature,a lot of nice parks.A really great music scene. They had this cool thing that a lot of bands would play in Yoyogi park on sundays.
"Yoyogi Park is a popular and one of the few large open spaces in Tokyo. Yoyogi Park isn't a manicured Japanese garden, but more a place for people to walk their dog (the only off leach place I saw in Tokyo even though this was separately fenced), picnic, ride a bike, practice martial arts or throw a ball. On Sundays around the outer perimeter of the park bands and individuals play music. The band often have generators and amplifiers so it can turn into a battle of bands. "
