For a lot of the bands that have done reunions i have to ask, why play for us if your hearts not in it?

Pretending that they cared about our scene just because our money's green

yeah but that's the point. sure it's the same people playing, but it's not the same band. they don't believe in what they're singing. civ might, but the rest don't.

If they cared enough to get back together, dont they still believe in it?

none of them are edge, except civ and that's debatable.

To be honest it can be a real let down. I have always loved youth of today and i went to the euro reunion they did a few years back and it felt weird. It sounded great but i knew ray wasn't genuine about the things he was singing. He's changed so much and thats fine but he isn't the person that he was when he wrote those songs. It felt really empty and odd when he'd be singing youth crew or flame still burns, like a real anti-climax and it made listening to the CD's even pretty odd for a while. And we know the heart felt lyrics are more wallet felt lyrics now.

I love it when the threads break out into song.
This so called shit is what I live for. It's why I'm alive. I'll never smother the fire forever burning inside.

I'm at the point where I'm sucked in. By the message I get this passion.

The fury is mine. It keeps me alive. I can't breathe till I release what's inside.
