Question Is taking addictive medication wrong when you need it?

ok, well I'v been having horrid sleeping problems for about two years now. About a month ago I finally went for a phsyciatric evaluation. They diagnosed me with mild insomnia. They sent me a perscription for a sleeping medicine. I read in the side effects that it can be addictive and that it can put you in a "high" like state after use. I dont want to take the medicine because of that but because I'm not sleeping I could also start to get very ill. Would it be wrong not to take? Or even more wrong not to?
Where has innocence gone these days? Was it just a game we played? Shy away from the mirror so you don't see your guilty face, stay away from everyone you should just leave this place. Just leave my world and find your own

if you are taking it for medical reasons then it's not against edge. sXe is only against recreational drug use.
