it's 1 of 2 things. historically it's a term for militant straight edge.

lately however weird white power kids have tried co-opting the term to describe them. Problem with that is that straight edge has a really long and vocal history against racism.

Do you actually know what militant means and what people with militant attitudes do in support of their beliefs? Do you think using violence and aggression towards those who don't follow your personal beliefs isn't a bad thing? If you are trying to argue that bad is just subject to perception then how do you factor human rights into that? Different ways of life are fine but if it intrudes on how others wish to live their lives then exactly how is that not bad?

Well technically someone smoking is also someone harming someone unless they ensure they never smoke around people. However, militant straightedgers are people that hold militant views with regards to straightedge so i think your first description is more accurate although the second description is pretty retarded behaviour also. At least in the sense of them dishing out their own brand of what they deem justice.
