metalcore is not impressing me at all recently and I love metalcore. and metalcore meaning (from here on, undying, between the buried and me, through the eyes of the dead and other bands that no one has heard of). But the new stuff I have been hearing is just trash.

some bands are just trying to find a gimmick. leather pants, white belt, bandana, girl pants, whatever. its shit.

that's logical, given that a lot of metalcore bands are just black/death metal without solos and growling

it's difficult to say that though. I mean there are a couple bands out there that are original. but getting in to an argument with you about music is pointless. thus, I rest my case.
