Has anyone heard of the 7" box compilation from Commitment records called "More Than an X On Our Hands"? I wan't to know if it's any good and worth tracking down.

No, it's got stuff from all over. According to the website:

"This compilation features 41 Straight Edge bands from 41 different countries - all styles of hardcore are featured, from melodic punkrock to new school metal, but the large majority of the bands play traditional old school hardcore (what else would you expect on Commitment ?). Some of the more wellknown bands on this compilation are One X More, Vitamin X, Good Clean Fun, H-Street, In The Clear, Strength Approach, New Winds and Vieja Escuela - also included are sXe bands from countries like Israel, South Africa, Guatamala and Indonesia. A total of six 7" inches and a 52-page booklet in a nice box. Only 1000 will be made, so be fast... "

It sounded interesting so I wanted to know if anyone had heard the stuff on it. Obviously I know some of the bands on there already.

I'd get it just to be able to listen to the bands from countries I haven't heard bands from before.

Yeah, I think I will try and get hold of one if they haven't sold out.

Didn't it come out a while ago? I think I remember seeing it and really wanting to pick one up bet never getting round to it.

Yeah, it came out ages ago. I only just heard about it in a zine I got sent with the stuff I ordered from Re-pressed distribution in Leeds. It was limited to 1000 but there might be the odd copy left, it's worth a shot.
