Arg. Hubby and I went to see Avatar in 3D last night, but it was sold out. We saw Sherlock Holmes while in Indiana. That was very good. I was happy to see that Watson was true to character, not the typical bumbling idiot.

I must be the only one in the world who didn't think that Avatar was really good, save for the stunning visuals.
The downright best movie I've seen in these past few weeks would have to be Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive movie. Excellent. I plan on seeing Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness soon.
X-Men : The Last Stand

Two Pixar shorts: a) Lifted b) One Man Band
Both are very funny and are based on quite original scenario ideas. Lifted literally made me laugh out loud and One Man Band made me do the same too. I highly recommend that you get your hands on these animated shorts. Okay, it seems both are available on YouTube so here they are for your convenience and viewing pleasure:
Lifted
One Man Band
II
Shinjuku Incident starring Jackie Chan performing his very atypical role - serious main character of a drama. No kung-fu demonstrations, no funny lines and faces. I love the guy, I love the Eastern cultures so this one was both interesting and good in my mind. I don't think this movie is very original or stands out but I found it rather worthwhile.
Some movies I'd like to see:
Army of Darkness
Firewall
Hostel series
Crank series
Cube series
Saw series
Plan 9 From Outer Space
Doom (even though I know that, despite it being based on the game, it'll probably blow, because it has The Rock ;) )
Up in the Air was really good.
Jee, I read Food, Inc. and thought Cloudy With A Chance of Meat Balls. I realized I was thinking about the different movie only just now.
Anyway, I saw Avatar. I'm in love with Neytiri. This is THE Woman. When you get out of the cinema after watching Avatar the world looks bleak and boring especially first ten or so minutes.
Batman Begins. I saw it last night only. I think this is a really good movie and I liked it WAY more than The Dark Knight.
I'm looking forward to Iron Man 2 but I'm not getting my hopes high.
Okay, I see what you mean now :D
Dead End.
Not that it was fantastic but I like the concept ! Good enough to keep me in front of the tv.
Orphan.
Lost. (with Clark Kent in the Mercedes..) lol'd so much, like Dead End I like the concept.
I finally saw Breakfast at Tiffany's.
