I have no clue if straightedge is really big in Belgium or not, but its a lifestyle i can relate to on some points.
However lately i've been wondering if its possible to be straightedge without listening to hardcore bands.
Anyway the music i DO listen to is Il nino, Disturbed, Maroon 5, Some sorts of rap, and many others.
Anyway... the reason i signed up for this forum is 'cause i'm kinda confused.

But I personally enjoy two step, spin kicks, brutal, etc. I am guilty of wearing basketball shorts at every show I attend.
This one is really easy, because I never got to see them:
Minor Threat, Gorilla Biscuits, Earth Crisis, with Casey Jones or xAFBx probably.
Although xFight Everyonex and Remembering Never would be great additions.
I am still new to straight edge... just over a year and a half. I used to live a life full of lust and consumption. I am still in a process of redemption. I believe sXe to be a positive personal choice for me, and without sXe, I don't think I would be where I would be today.
I'd like to talk to anyone who is willing... Thanks for making this resource available to me.
