AFI: how great are they?

So what do you people think about the greatest band in the world(in my opinion). But seriously thanks to them Im still in this world today and writing this. They're incredibly talent well dont get me started in how much A FIRE INSIDE means to me.

hahaha first im a female and Afi is my life i wont old back then. afi has such a depth to there lyrics that even w/o music or singing it inspires you and changes the way you feel inside the when you add daveys mesmerizing voice its amazing. and if you really wanna know how i feel email me lol

They are pretty good, but definitely not great. And I don't even think they place in the top 2,000 bands of all time, so they certainly aren't the greatest ever.

yeah but the top 2,000 bands of all time is based on howmany peoples opinions? You'd have to ask everyone for that sort of thing to count as anything.

the more i listen to them the more i like them i have been listening to the earlier cd's and i really like them, their last two cd's are a bit too slow and poppy but i like the latest cd i bought.

I likes/respected the more skater-indy style of their first few albums, however the dark, grim, melodramatic thing they do now seems kinda like pandering to an audience.

yeah i like the new stuff but the older stuff is much better. i agree that they changed a lot, not for the better

My point is that calling AFI the best band of all time is more or less blasphemy.
