These latest elections were such a joke. There were some really ridiculous options...the christian party, the pensioners party and of course the most ridiculous, the bnp.

I told viv last night that now I have the best excuse ever for not moving there. They clearly don't want any more immigrants.

I think he'll hang on until the election. I think most Labour MPs realise they're going to lose the next election badly and would rather see Brown tainted by the failure than anyone else.

The flipside is that to lose so badly would be so much harder to rebuild to be a legitimate opposition again. There are a lot of benefits in ending brown now and making some kind of counter to possibly ensure a loss that isn't quite as devastating.

I think he should go just for the notable fact of being in power and losing power without a single vote cast.

I wish people weren't so ridiculously uneducated on how immigration effects the country. Everyone seems to hold the most ridiculously naive views.
