although i have respect for oi! scene, in my country it's deeply affiliated with violence, which bothers me.. i still like streetpunk musically.. my favs are Los Fastidios, Born To Lose, Loikamie, Stage Bottles, and few others.. not much into ska, maybe skapunk in the vein of MMBosstones or Mad Caddies...

I was really into oi and ska music when I was in high school. I think it had a lot to do with my scene though--there were a lot of street punks and S.H.A.R.P.S. around where I lived.

california, aha. because im not so much a skinhead anymore, i stated to grow my hair , so i didnt dress like one, but i still love the music and will go back to it again one day!

Hey has anyone watched Romper Stomper? It's a film with Russel Crowe in it which focuses on neo-nazi skinheads in Footscray in Melbourne. I have just watched it and thought it was interesting. Just thought I would mention it, it's a pity that all the neo-nazi's took over the skinhead scene and tainted it, grrr. I have never listened to Oi! Music, what artist does the song skinhead girl? I wanna listen to it.
