I think Papa Roach is quite a mediocre band. It always was, actually.

i like a couple of tracks from Infest, but hate every other song or album

Well well..

I haven't heard anything else from Metamorphosis than Hollywood Whore (oh God I hate that name, although Coby's psychedelic laugh in the end of the song makes it OK) and few kinda bad-quality live performances from YouTube. Still I love them and I'm really looking forward to their new album. I think Coby's vocals are raspier than what they were in the Paramour Sessions; maybe that's looking back to Lovehatetragedy only in the first single?

I do really think that Papa Roach has some kind of "first single syndrome"; I haven't liked any of their first singles, like I do think that Alive ('n out of control) was the weakest song in Paramour Sessions. I do really, really love Forever (I think that was the second single?) and The Fire, which is my ultimate favourite.

My favourite songs from them are The Fire (from Paramour Sessions), Gouge Away (Pixies cover), Blood (from GawM), Singular Indestructible Droid (or S.I.D from.. well, I don't remember where that's from, LHT?) and Lovehatetragedy.

There was a song by them called "Last resort" and in a music store it came on with the lyrics "cut my life into pieces" then the song got switched over, so maybe the people in the store had a problem with the lyrics or whatever.

I liked "Between angels and insects" thats the one song I got into for a while

I had a mad urge to listen to the Pixies a couple of weeks back, but then I remembered when I used to DJ some jerk stole my Pixies CDs when I nipped to the toilet.

Anyone got their new album Metamorphosis?

I bought it recently .Its OK they have quite a new sound evolved form Paramour Sessions bit more guitar away from the old Nu-Metal.

Not their best album.
