Check this out, it's really worth it. If you're a record collector, and haven't seen this site yet, it's HIGHLY recommended. Especially the it never ends section.

Also: http://www.collectorscum.com has some great info for records -I'll most likely never own- in it's Where'd You Find That?!" section.

it's not me, who is fond of guy's asses...that said, let's talk about the records on those sites.

The void/faith split test press blew my mind. it's a great record, it would be nice to own it. I wonder how much people would pay for it.

Guys asses don't interest me too much. I like female asses, I would say I am more of an ass man. Thats a good discussion too though, are you more of an ass man Dini? Feel free to jump in anyone else.

The rates records are selling at the moment is utterly ridiculous so I wouldn't even like to imagine dude. This isn't just the record you are meaning here, I mean, like ALL records right now. Example, I was trying to buy the test press of the new TFS EP, dude wants over $200 for it, this isn't just some dude, this is the guy from the lable wanting all that money. And he was basically the same for the TFS - WWK test press, unbelievable. Some people might say thats OK, but I know guys who bought TYF and Insted tests for the same sorta money and I would class these as a bit more valuable thna a record that isn't even released yet.

The Dischord stuff on there is sweet, Out Of Step 12" test, not even worth imagining how much one of them would be worth. <3 Negative Approach.

you're not going to trick me!

we have had a discussion about this in an old thread, i just read it today (ebay craze it was called or something).

If i was an american kid, i'd go to flea markets, old record shops and check the 1$ bins all the time, hoping to find something awesome.
I went to a second hand record shop here in BP, and the closest I found was: rolling stones lp-s (written in russian of course, looked funny), sting and david lee roth. of course, all of the above suck big time, so i didn't even think about getting them.

Yeah, you could pin alot of the blame on ebay and stupid kids bidding stupid ammounts on bands like American Nightmare, I mean, what the fuck is that all about?

Same here also, we have no record stores. I visited one in London when I was down last and heard good things but when I got there it was mostly CD's and any vinyl they did have pretty much sucked. But I do hear good things about Out Of Step in Leeds and the one in Cardiff which I forget the name of.

American Nightmare and Sheer Terror stuff is ridiculous. I really don't like to buy records off ebay, everything on there gets pushed up to way higher prices than it should be and 2 times now I have recieved snapped records in the mail because people don't know how package/send.

I wouldn't know about Sheer Terror stuff, but yes American Nightmare in particular is a bit of a joke. They weren't THAT good and there gear isn't THAT cool to be honest, I don't understand the super hype.

Fortunately, I haven't had any experience with snapped or damaged records through the post yet but I have heard stories/seen pictures of how some people have packaged records and it's unreal how someone could post something so stupidly like that. I hope you got refunds or something from the records being broken?

i've always thought sheer terror was way underrated. you can get some nice deals on ebay if you're lucky. I got the blue bold 7", the first pressing of the burn 7" the first pressing of the judge storm 7" and the first pressing of the disengage 7" for 5$ each.

Seriously? When was this? I am guessing it wasn't ebay.com either.
