Erik, you don't like me, its pretty obvious but i don't think you need to make irrelevent comments about me in threads i haven't posted in. So what if i prefer to discuss things i don't agree with or find fault in? It shouldn't and doesn't stop things being fun unless you feel so strongly about discussing things with me based on other things. Perhaps choosing to discuss differences you have with me would be benificial, is this something you wish to do here or is it just a jab at me?

Congratulations for turning a thread about calvin and hobbes into a thread about your opinions of me, i don't think thats what you wanted or needed to do.

Thanks for the support guys, it means a lot. I'm not quite back on my feet yet but I'm getting there.

I just want the tattoo to be finished. She brought up it would look better with a boarder. Any ideas? The only one I have is a bunch of little monster hands pulling skin back to reveal the scene. Next time I go in I think its calvin and hobbes themselves getting colored. My left shoulder blade is such a sissy.

Those would be moles. Tattoo artists sometimes will but should not ever tattoo over a mole.

why not?

D1988
07-25-2007, 08:40 PM
why not?

To have a mole removed you have to go through surgery. They have really deep roots and apparently if a mole starts to bleed you could be in alot of trouble.

Putting ink into a mole could damage it and cause alot of bleeding and the ink colour would look pretty shitty as well.

PROPER JERK

Also some moles contain cancer. I don't know if a tattoo needle will release that cancer but its just best not to fuck with them.

I did too but then I came up with the idea of using 2 C&H book spines for the sides and wooden grain shelving for the top and bottom and make it look sorta library frame like. I'm still playing with ideas.

do you go to the same artist? Portfolios are important to look at but they can be deceiving. Say they did 500 tattoos but only have 100 in the portfolio type of deal. If you're ever in washington I could make a few good recomondations.
