I overhauled my mp3 collection and found out yesterday that I've got a copy of this album Verse, From Anger And Rage (2006).
As far as xsecx mentioned this band more than just once, I got down to listening to it just immediately.
For now, I listened to the whole album like 10 times already, or more, I don't know, I just turned on Repeat function in my player and listen to it.
It's great. It's artistic, melodic. It's really hardcore punk, not a metal influenced.
So, THIS is an accurate representation of hardcore music, isn't it?
Just before yesterday I got a copy of GB "Start Today" reissue, and as far as GB is an old-school hardcore (correct?) band I can find some resemblance in the sound of both bands. I'm not saying they sound similar, but there's a resemblance - sound structure, vocals.
It is melodic. Makes me think of some contemporary "emocore" sound, but its short duration just beautifies the music, makes it more artistic.
Well, I like it. This is a really good music.
