R.I.P. Noink
Current mood: crushed

Well um...Noink was my couzin. And I didnt really know him. But , bone solid, here's the deal of why this is here: everytime I talk about how bad drugs, and alcohol are, people always laugh at me, and be like "SHut up, Cam. Your so dumb, so but the whole world can't be straight edge". I don't want them to be, so how does this tie in , with Noink's death? Well, his dad Eddie (in jail now) went to Vietnam. And If you know anything about the war in 'Nam, you'll know that it was at the height of the hippie revolution, when drugs were flying around. Well my uncle got hooked on a few drugs in the war. He brought that back home with him, and from there, he'd do drugs when he was depressed. Noink picked the habit up, and started doing this stuff. His dad went to jail two months ago for doing some pedophile stuff, and Noink sorta lost contact..until last night when he was found dead, of a drug overdose. DEAD, like silent still and dead.So here's another funeral coming.. His life wasn't as hectic as those around him, but wow...it makes me speechless. Really depressing story.

So just to show you all how bad substances are and how they over rule lives...and It usually starts at the bottle.

I really don't expect many to read this (especially those I know with similar problems, because I've already pretty much jumped on them.)

addiction starts in your genes, not the bottle. if you have a family history of addiction, the real kind, not the porn kind, then you have to be very aware of substance use of any kind. Why does it make you speechless and sad of what is described as a near stranger? Why mourn someone you never took the time to get to know when they were alive?

One of the reasons I decided not to ever start drinking was not only because I am against it, but also because alcoholism is something that seems to run through my family, and its not something I ever want to play around with.

I haven't really mourned him, but thought about the issue alot I have, it's been running through my mind all day. Well, the reason I say it comes from the bottle is because I was trying to hit at my neighbor (naive) with that. Her mom is an ex alcoholic and crackhead, and lately she's been drinking nonstop, so its sad to se things go downhill like that. I'm speechles because of the story...its not intentional , or like I need to feel that way. It's my heart.
