drinking alcohol is drinking alcohol regardless of tradition.

what about it? If you're against drinking, why would you drink just because it's your wedding?

At our wedding I had a row with my mum because she wanted to toast with wine, and we didn't want our marrage celebrated with an act we are opposed to.

Instead as our toast we had this really nice sparkiling orange drink from Italy, no alcohol, no money to a company that makes it's proffit off alcohol, and we had a nice sparkiling toast, out of a nice bottle, with a cork that went pop.

At other weddings I raise my glass of water, and drink that to their health.
