Sure the Misfits ( and by misfits I refer to the older stuff with Glen Danzig on vocals ) had some off lyrics for a punk rock band. Zombies, martians, monsters and wolves isn't exactly punk but to compare them to that crap Aiden is insane and obsered. Lest we forget Last caress and Bullet. Victory has put out a lot of crap, in its day, but every once in awhile they put out releases from decent bands. Point in case: the new With Honor record. It reminds me of a mix of Ignite, Time Flies, and a hint of Lifetime/Kid D.

I think and I know A.F.I and the old misfits kick ass. Especially A.F.I.. Atreyu sucks ass, they suck it a lot. So the aiden probably does to and I'm not even gonna check. Now Marylin is the man. He just does what he wants to so what his appearances aren't hurting me and if I could get away with wearing the makeup he does I would too. Not the clothes though they're a little feminine. the problem with with honor being on victory is that it pretty much negates their whole deal and puts them squarely in the part of the problem category.

Theres a "pre-release" thats been floating around Soulseek for awhile now. It isn't too bad, but I can see how people wouldn't be pleased with them signing to Victory and all. All in all, I'd say the Victory Curse let them relatively unscathed, if what I have is, indeed, the finished product.

Their EP is still tops though.
