let's just discuss for a moment how fucking great this record is.

i listened to it while mowing my lawn today.

i may be caught up in the moment... but this may very well be my choice for the greatest straight edge hardcore record ever made.

it's fucking perfect.

spoken word crap at the end keeps it from being a perfect record.

...even when.

silence is broken.

to me they're like minor threat and one of those bands that everyone seems to agree on.

wow.

i'm speechless.

i can vividly remember getting screaming for change in 1987 and laying in bed in my room reading the lyrics to 'no thanks' and having the hair on the back of my neck stand up, a chill go down my spine and getting fucking psyched.

linsee...you need to revisit this record.

You know, I hadn't heard this CD either, but I thought I might check it out since y'all were going on and on about it, and it seems to be out of stock everywhere! I guess I'll have to hoof it down to Wax Trax and see if they can order it or something. If it's really that good, that is.

it's the only uc cd i have ever seen. I'm sure i can get it from distros though, i haven't been on a lookout for it.

screaming for change. granted I haven't looked for it for a while, but it was as common as the minor threat discography a few years ago.

It seems they are out of stock right now doesn't it! Perhaps if you are wishing to order this item you could send them an email asking when they are expecting stock in or if they could recomend any other sources for the record.

i pretty much agree on the merits of this release, however the most troubling thing about uniform choice is their other album...staring into the sun. wtf was that piece of crap all about?

don't get me started on that record.

i bought it the day it came out. a few days before it came out i could be seen digging through garbage cans to get aluminum cans to recycle at those golden goat recycling stations so i'd have money to buy it. needless to say i was not psyched.

what a bum out...i was ready for that record to blow my mind, instead it just blew.

through a freak of alphabetical phenomenon "staring into the sun" (i got it for $4.99 in a used bin) is on my cd shelf right next to "vanishing point".

still got plenty of love for UC.
